Exercises program Improves Pulmonary function and Walking distance

Abstract
Background: The purpose of this study is figure out some change of lung function and walking distance by exercises program in health adults.

Method: The all subjects are healthy and participated voluntary We had divided 2 group (10 people to compare group, 10 people for the gym ball exercise group) and the effects on lung function were measured with digital spirometry and walking distance with six-minute walk test. And the t-test was conducted to analyze among the compared group, the gym ball exercise group the differences between before and after the experiment.

Result: Gym ball exercise group was a significant difference in the FEV1, FEV1/FVC%, FEF25 - 75%(p<0.05) between before and after exercises. The control group, however, showed no change(p>0.05).

Conclusion: This study demonstrated that gym ball exercise could be helpful for lung function. Various exercises in future research on intervention programs can be studied to promote the public if the functional status is considered to be of much help.
